The Daytona Beach Pier on Florida's East Coast is an Icon for the Area.
A family oriented walk through shops, eateries like Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, Cold Stone Creamery, Johnny Rocket's, Wing House, Chicago Red Hots, and Sloppy Joe's, and the Daytona Beach Bandshell. Free Bandshell Concerts are on Friday and Saturday nights with Saturday night fireworks after the show. The free concerts go on from August 23, 2019 - September 28, 2019 and start at 7 pm. Admission is Free with the option of a $10 VIP admission which includes a chair. Free fireworks show on Saturday nights.
Joe's Crab Shack is a destination set apart. "Eat At Joe's", "Be Ye Warned Taste If You Dare", and "Pirate's Sail These Waters", are slogans connected to this establishment. I recommend the Arrrrrtichoke Dip, delicious. Don't forget to "Walk the Plank", you get to keep the glass.
The old-school video arcade, complete with skee-ball, offers a respite from the sun on those extreme days Florida has. There is a water-park, complete with a Lazy River, Daytona Lagoon, and Family Entertainment Center that offers Go-Kart fun. There's Laser Tag, a Rock Wall, Rope Sky Maze, mini-golf course, and more. Family packed fun for all.
